What your Nanny experience from Au Pair Care Australia includes:

Enquire or register on our website. We will then be in contact to start the application/interview process or go through any questions you may have.
Once we receive your application form, character/childcare employment reference and all other necessary documentation, we will interview you to establish and confirm your suitability to become a Nanny with our service. It is recommended to also provide a resume/CV to assist your application.

Once your application has been received, we will begin to look at the families on our database that we feel would complement your abilities and needs.
- All Families in our program have been interviewed by a member of our team.
- Receiving Family profiles can take as little as 1 day to 3-4 weeks, however it can take longer depending on what the families, and your requirements are.
- Potential Families will be provided with your profile, so they can choose whether you are most suited to join their family. The selection is usually based on common interests, experience and qualifications required.

When you or a family feel that you would like to get to know each other more, the family will make contact with you. This is where you will have the opportunity for more formal introductions and to ask any questions you may have of them and their lifestyle.

Our team at Au Pair Care Australia will have regular contact with you throughout this introduction process, to ensure you feel confident in your choices.
When a Family wishes to offer you a placement, you will receive a formal invitation from them. This will confirm details of your placement including agreed start dates and other information. We will continue to present your profile to interested families until you have formally accepted a placement.

Once a placement is confirmed between you and the Family, we will also send you an official letter of confirmation as well as an information booklet.

Our team recommends regular communication with your Family to help ease you into their family life. Having a Skype or Whatsapp account is a fantastic way to really get to know your Family.

A current Working With Children's Check, relevant to the state you are nannying in
Current Police Check (valid within 12 months)
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Current references
Driver’s licence (if applicable)
An ABN (if you are self employed)
Nanny Insurance (highly recommended)
